5. Precise Measurements: The probe offers precise measurements due to its high-quality components and advanced signal processing.
Cons of buying Tektronix SC502 15MHz TM500 Plug-in Oscilloscope:1. Cost: The TM500 probe, as with all Tektronix products, is quite expensive compared to other brands. This might deter some buyers with a limited budget.
2. Limited Bandwidth: Although 15MHz is high for many applications, users who require higher bandwidth might find this as a limitation.
3. Limited Channel Count: The TM500 probe is a single-channel probe, which may not be suitable for users requiring multi-channel analysis.
Recommendation:The Tektronix SC502 15MHz TM500 Plug-in Oscilloscope is an excellent choice for users requiring high-frequency analysis with high sensitivity and precision. Its compatibility with various Tektronix oscilloscopes offers flexibility. However, its high cost and limited channel count might be a concern for some users. If budget is not a constraint and high-frequency analysis is essential, this probe is highly recommended. If budget is a concern, users may consider exploring other brands offering similar specifications at lower prices.
Original capacitor seemed to have significant corrosion on it. Paper added around CRT shield to stop clanging and banging noise in scope. Has since been replaced by a good capacitor me. It is a plug-in oscilloscope for the TM500 series and will work in tm503 above power units, except select few without high compartment.
The only noticeable damage is the letters SC engraved in rear. Had a few bad experiences. Massive channel offset issue: s:// .oblige /forum/repair/same-transistor-curves-but-one-is-broken/ the previous owner/technician seemed to have inserted it in wrong direction. What this is:this is a Tektronix model SC502 analog oscilloscope.
For more details ask me. The oscilloscope works perfectly except for one thing. This is not needed for this scope however as the trace can be focused to a fine line. I think this is just bad contacts, but am not sure.
Questions?: ask me. Condition: the condition on this oscilloscope is very good. Was corrected by me. I will try my best to answer your questions.
A small amount of damage is observed. It features two channels. That's the only issue with this scope; everything else works perfectly. SC is a local community college in my area.
Channel two offsets by about 1.5 divisions when sourcing the trigger signal from channel this was an official Tektronix mod, but this scope never received it. Not cables, leads, or tm504 power unit. I am also open to offers.
